You have to know if you are dealing with "sweet ants" or "grease ants". This reason this bait works is because of the fat in the egg yolk. Grease ants won't be interested in just sugar or honey with boric acid and sweet ants won't touch fat with boric acid. I just got rid of sweet ants in my house with honey and boric acid. 24 hours, no more ants. When I tried bacon grease with boric acid they ignored it.

My advice, is to watch a real gardner from an area near where you live! This cHANNEL uses bots..They are not from the US....

Ya think beer traps are good but theres a downfall they attract the slugs from outside into ur garden lime and chilli powdwer works great but no good if ur area gets planty of rain best option is to ho out at night n pick them n itll get the population down to where ya wont see much damage as ya used too i know ya can spray with garlic water n that but ya dont want everything smelling of garlic either to be honest

No need to buy beer! They go to it because of the yeast in the beer. That's what attracts them!! Take one cup of water, 2 teaspoons of sugar and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of yeast. Regular yeast like you use to make breads with. Works just as good as the beer!! I use it myself!!! 😊

For long term control without constant work I would recommend using nematodes. Very effective

Doesn't work practically. A rain shower will clean the lime. The beer trap will attract some slugs but others go for destruction of your plants. Waste of time unless all slugs are stopped.

I'm a bit off subject and off season here but you're so full of good tricks! I have to ask; do you have a good trick against cabbage root fly? I loose half my broccolis every year to these pests...

Cow manure should be aged. Believe me I grow 3 lbs tomart.
